As the leader in community health care in BinhDuong province (which has a population of nearly one million people), BinhDuong Hospital is a fully accredited 800-bed hospital. Founded in 1890 as PhuCuong Hospital, it has grown considerably since then, especially after reunion day back in 1975. Today, this hospital offers a diverse range of patient care services with many strengths in cardiology, obstetrics, paediatrics, general surgery and trauma care.
BinhDuong Hospital is now recognized as a ‘Medium Hospital’ by the Ministry of Health. It employs more than 600 doctors, which represent 16 medical specialties. Our team of young and pro-active doctors, along with patient nurses, and many services, enables us to provide a comprehensive, advanced level of health care. We have been awarded as ‘excellent throughout’ and have also been recognized as ‘The Friendly Children’s Hospital’ by the Ministry of Health.
Each year BinhDuong Hospital treats on average 30.000 inpatients, for everything from a broken leg to a heart attack. Head injuries from road traffic accidents are still a great challenge to us. 65% of the patients admitted to our emergency department have suffered trauma. The most common cause is from motorbike accidents on main roads.
The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients throughout the BinhDuong province. Radiology, laboratory, and other services are also available to help our staff quickly assess, diagnose and treat a variety of patients.
We, the Director’s board, the Communist Party Organization, the Labor union, and the doctors and staff of BinhDuong Hospital, take pride in providing the highest standard of health care services to our communities. We are committed to supplying the best care possible, whilst always bearing in mind our populations future health care needs.
